Clematis "Avalanche" is doing her thing! #bloomscrolling π±
The lovely Mendocino Botanical Gardens. This is part of what they call the Perennials Garden #bloomscrolling π±
I remember one of the guys (maybe Mike?) in A Chorus Line says he "went to PS Sh*t" but I dunno that it counts as a song...even though most of the ACL songs are shot through with dialogue or monologue.
Ha ha!
Summertime!
I bought this based on your recommendation and I loved it.
39! From touring with shows back in the day.
If you ever want a Napa getaway, come on over! Guest studio waiting for you. π
It's a beautiful evening in Napa Valley. #gardeningfeed #bloomscrolling π±

The little Western Screech Owl is visiting us again today. #birds π¦
Florida will be too humid for them. There might be an iris variety native to Florida or adapted to the climate?
Probably, since they are California natives. But one can always give it a try if the climate is similar.
Our native California irises are going crazy this year. So pretty! #gardeningfeed #bloomscrolling π±
We had a surprise visitor this morning! And he came back again later, with a date. It must be spring! #birds
The candytuft is on crack! #gardeningfeed #bloomscrolling π±
I planted this in 2020 as a 5 gallon plant. It really took off. There are a lot of different habits though. Some are creeping groundcovers, some scrubby, some small trees. What is yours?
Flowers that wouldn't say die after this part of my property burned in the 2017 Atlas Fire. They gave me hope. π±
Do you get those pretty Bluebonnets? And are they a form of lupine? They remind me of lupine.
I think mostly Sunset book's zone 14, it's Napa Valley. A bit of 15 closer to the ridgetops. I'm at the base of a smallish mountain so there's a little bit of coolness vs. full-on valley floor
Our native California ceanothus "Dark Star" is doing its spring thing! The color is intense indigo and I love it. #gardeningfeed π±
Omg this π₯
On International Womenβs Day, thousands gather to oppose Trump. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/03...
California native ceanothus sporting those crazy bubblegum colors it gets before it goes full-on blue. #GardeningFeed π±
Mainly wildlife. A good habitat plant.
CA White Flowering Currant, ribes indecorum.
I love the graceful, airy shape of this native California ribes (currant) just starting to bloom. π± #gardening
It's mustard season in Napa Valley. So pretty! #winesky π± #vineyards
OMG memories. I was at Cinecitta making a bad Italian movie while this was filming. I'd go to the commissary for lunch and it was full of the orchestra of little people in mirror-lapel tuxedoes. Also some monks around for The Name of the Rose. It felt like being IN a Fellini movie.
I'm so sad that Newton Vineyard just couldn't recover from the Glass Fire and will permanently close. It was a beautiful place, with beautiful wines. I took this photo when I was up there for a meeting, back when they were a client of mine. #winesky
