Yes. It was - one of a few I was priveleged to experience before I became deaf. Peter Donohoe was the other standout soloist with StockportYoutOrchestra

A sublime pianist. He was a soloist when I played with the #NationalYouth orchestra decades ago. He played Mozart’s concerto no. 23. I still remember the hauntingly beautiful slow movement.

Got to love After Eights but the key word is underlined; if they get much smaller it will be hard to find them in their envelope…!
