Never thought I'd see that name in this franchise again but-

In the wake of Dreamwave Founder Pat Lee (who left numerous freelancers unpaid while holding the Transformers license and passed other artists' work off as his own) re-emerging, and being welcomed back into the fold by Hasbro to "provide" package art, it's great to see inspiration hasn't left him.

Preliminary Concepts of the character Nightshade for the animated show: Transformers Earthspark. Some are drawings of basic body shapes for their robot mode, others are explorations of their owl alt mode

Concepts for Nightshade's head and face, trying to retain owl elements on their robot mode.

Explorations on how to make the owl wings function in robot mode, and how it would affect the figure's shapes.

Multiple views of Nightshade's Owl alt mode, ultimately unused in the final show. And a look at their side profile and back details.

Seeing as Nightshade from Transformers: Earthspark is catching attention again, here's some of the work I did on the character. There was an earlier version of them that had been finalised and approved, but the writers wanted a new alt mode; their earlier disguise was a 'Gargoyle'!

Anyways, go watch Earthspark. It's on Netflix now, so y'all have no excuse not to.

Woke up to discover that Graham Linehan has cancelled his Netflix subscription because he found out we have a non-binary ROBOT in (the GLAAD-nominated) Transformers Earthspark.

Watching Alien: Earth stresses the fuck out of me, I think I age at least 7 years per episode. Love this show.

I can never begin to even comprehend the mindset behind this. As far as I understand, this guy used to make art, didn't he? When you call yourself an artist, have years of training, have had audiences supporting your art.... then the moment A.I prompting became a thing you do this shit..? Why?🙄

I think its important to note that this isnt just another AI scumbag. This guy is making hundreds of thousands of dollars doing this shit. I personally saw him making a $500+ sale at Dragon Con.
