That’s pretty much Betty Boop and her “Boop Oop a doo” catchphrase. Was she based off a black woman… technically no? BUT the inspiration, Helen Kane, was a big ol copy cat that took the “boop Oop a doo” catchphrase from Esther Jones, a black singer.

An animation company comes along and sees the white TikTok creator and the dance they claim to have created. They then create a character based off that white TikTok creator and would be known to make the dance as well.

The whole “Betty Boop actually being based off a black woman” is really funny to me cause TECHNICALLY she wasn’t… BUT!

Ok, imagine you’re a black TikTok creator and you have a signature dance move YOU made. Then, a white TikTok creator suddenly copies you and claims it as their own signature move.

Y’all also notice how boomers were able to easily accept this rapid growth of AI?

Shouldn’t THEY be also helping us stop this “demon machine” or something?

Why haven’t they been questioning why deepfakes of minors or women is becoming so normalized?

I refuse to say AI is the future.

I can't prove it yet, but I have a theory that if AI continues to develop and normalize more, then eventually people will develop something like dementia or another brain disease from the low brain activity
