For what it’s worth, he reached out to Bret multiple times asking him if he wanted to debate Dave and I. He never responded.

AFAIK he’s not a holocaust denier, he’s a white supremacist. I’m curious, what approach do you think we should be taking in this climate if public debates shouldn’t be part of it at all?

No, it’s not. We don’t have holocaust deniers deciding current foreign affairs. We do now have anti-vaxxers making health policy decisions. Do you not see that difference?

It shouldn’t, you’re right. But when anti-vaxxers run our health agencies, there needs to be science communicators ready to step up and show on a stage that they don’t know what they’re talking about.
