The “fag” system in public schools used a different slang term as an origin. “Fagged out” meant tired, so the younger pupils who did the tiring menial work were “fags”. Nothing to do with the current slur.
That’s incredibly not accurate. It used to be a slur aimed at old men and old women among the poor who could only earn money by gathering dry wood to make faggots.

Roll20 as a VTT, Discord for comms with the German group, MS Teams for the Dutch group (their preferences). I play twice a week with them on average - and since I'm based in the UK I couldn't do it at all without online access.
I get to GM for my players in the Netherlands, Germany etc without it costing a fortune and taking ages.

Can't remember who said it, but some writer apparently commented that any new writer's first 100,000 words will be crap. Rather than give up, the trick is to write those first 100,000 so you can get to the good stuff.

If they exist and they are realised I'll tell you exactly what will happen:
