Two small $50 sketches of ski-masked GI Joe characters, Beach Head and Firefly. I won’t be offended if you trade me money for a sketch. Give me extra for shipping too please.
You know there was once a tv show where a superhero named Bill Bixby traveled from one country town to another and got beat up and bullied every episode and none of you nerds complained about it online!
I actually haven’t talked about this book that much. You could say i’ve been pretty silent. Almost quiet even. First issue is out next week. With @philhester.bsky.social and @idwpublishing.com
In brightest day, and fuck, in blackest night too, No evil shall escape my fucking sight. Let those fuckers who worship evil’s might, Beware my fuckin’ power: Green Lantern’s light
No matter how bad things get for me in the comics industry, I can thankfully say I never had to draw a road trip story.
The Convention season is upon us. I haven’t traveled to one in 11 years, what are they like now? Do you bring your table on the plane? Are there still portfolio lines for Batman jobs? Do they still have hot dogs? I don’t even know.

Captain America vs. Red Skull gray ink sketch for a patreon member.
Great idea, stocking up when you find deals. I wish there were more good neighborhood art stores. I seem to remember a lot more in the 90’s. So few now.
Me, i’m trying to use dip pens and ink as much as i can to lessen the wear and tear on felt tip pens. Choosing smooth bristol because it seems to not wear down the pens as much. Using cheaper synthetic hair brushes when i can. Using every drop of watercolor. Checking garage sales and thrift stores.
(Dick) Blick order arrived. Kinda sad that this small group of things cost $176. And that’s even choosing the less expensive non-Arches watercolor paper and the smaller cheaper bristol and store brand portfolio. Seems like it used to be more bang for your buck. How are you artists making it work?
I donated this Firestorm vs. Killer Frost sketch to the auction.
I wanted to help raise money for my state of Minnesota harmed by the federal ICE raids, so I did this Firestorm Vs. Killer Frost piece. All the money from this auction goes to legal, food, and community resources.
