Hey fellow creative folks. I hope we can collectively forgive ourselves for maybe not getting the running head start January was supposed to be. We’re doing the best we can in the times we live in and it is ROUGH out there

I wish more characters could find healing in domming instead of just subbing in fiction. Even when a character switches, they seem to only find healing when they sub.

No hate to creators, I love fics like that, I just wish domming was portrayed as healing more often, too.

Two posts from Tumblr user awakefor48hours "You should create for yourself" and "it's okay to feel discouraged when creating your own original projects if no one interacts with them" are two sentences that should be able to co-exist with each other On the one hand, you should kill that capitalist in your head that tells you to make art only for the enjoyment of other people. On the other hand, it's totally fine to be disappointed that you spent hours or even days on something that only got 4 notes. You can feel both ways.

Please remember to be kind to one another. There is too much going on in this world, and life is too short to waste time hating or being cruel to others because of 'fandom drama' and perceived insults.
