But Ace Bailey's NBA preseason debut was spectacular: 31 minutes, 25 points, 11-16 FG, 6 rebs, 3 assists, 2 steals. Couldn't have looked much better.

One downside of tonight's game is that Cody Williams is still really struggling... I can't say his scrimmage performance was promising either.

Jazz are running play after play for Ace Bailey... he's their number one option for sure with Markkanen out.

Ace Bailey's taken a couple of tough middies here (and made a couple too) but I like that he's not holding the ball and being really decisive with it.

Taylor Hendricks aggressive from three, 2-for-2 in 2 minutes to start his return back from the broken leg. Great to see him back on the court after Dallas.

Second-round pick John Tonje was officially signed to a two-way contract, Jazz announce.

They did answer a question on whether it would be publicly funded or privately funded. They said "Live Nation and SEG will be contributing substantial funds" towards the concert venue.

Questions have been preselected at this "press" conference — so they've chosen not to answer a question about how much the venue will cost.

Mike Maughan says demolition begins Q1 2027, with construction coming after that — so this won't be ready soon. They don't want to announce exactly where the venue will be either, but we know somewhere between 200 W and 300 W

They expect to host "200 events annually, including 100 concerts." The other events are likely to be corporate conferences and the like.
