as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Hollow Knight I gotta say this sequel isn't doing it for me on a fundamental level, and I look forward to the eventual critiques after everyone's honeymoon phases are over

It's a very real problem, which is why even when I'm not into doing full pieces I'm often scribbling *something* to keep the muscle memory fresh. lots of gestures filling my notebooks

In the rulebook under the Designing and Running Dungeons tab, the "Pokemon Dungeoneer" tool seems to lead to a broken link. Not sure if there's a typo, or if the tool is just down.

I think people should be more accepting and supportive of it/its pronouns. I don't think it/its users should be damned to only ever be misgendered, even among progressive and/or trans crowds

When people use it/its for me it makes me feel so loved and seen 💖

It's a great shame that, for something that WELL DESERVES its recent explosive popularity, they have to struggle with a website I've fallen out of love with for finding indie games.

Between this and the recent visibility issues for NSFW games, I've lost a lot of faith in itchio.

Anyway, I vaguely enjoyed the 1k hours I spent playing the game. Hope the upcoming week long Fight Nights event for others isn't full of cheaters like it usually is, lmao. (4/4)

I'm tired of the rampant negativity within the community making any session a nightmare.

Also, content creation is difficult around a game so repetitiously mundane with so little spicing it up from season to season, that creators farm salt from other players as their main form of content. (3/#)

mistakes that would normally kill playerbases made by its design team, leading to new updates feeling anemic, empty, and up until very recently, disastrously buggy.

The community is both passionate and painfully negative in ways I haven't even experienced in games like League of Legends. (2/#)

also just finished the pass barely a day and change from season changing lol. I didn't get to play much this season and I haven't even touched wallows, but getting the curse might make for a nice side project when interest in ancient megalodons dies down and I can do that stuff mostly in peace.

A rendition of something vaguely familiar to a goat-like creature, with draconic features. Hardened carapace and rock armor decorate the top half of their form. Their forelegs have thin skin, allowing sight through them and revealing magma inside. Their horns are lit aflame and indecipherable runes are carved into their back carapace.

The recent review bombing of Atlyss and subsequent misinformation hitpiece against its solo developer is next level gross.

If you participated in harassing the developer over this, especially thru review bombing, and assumed guilt immediately, you're not my friend.

Agreed. There was also a brief time in the late 2000s that I forgot about until you typed CoD- where they leveraged your ability to play with your friends / majority of the playerbase by selling lots of dlc that turned the game more or less incompatible if you didn't have them.

When I was disappointed in stuff like horse armor, my mind at the time couldn't comprehend it getting any worse.

Then we got gacha pulls and lootboxes. Tilted me a bit, but whatever.

Now it's battle passes that vacuum up all your time with the threat of a wasted purchase if you don't finish it.

It's getting better. The sign is legible from a distance now which is also nice
