Things seem to be moving in a good direction with the very recently announced Arcsys Creator's program.

However, I'm not happy with how the game is being handled, and I will not pretend like enough is being done to remedy the damage to the reputation of Strive regarding dev to player communication.

Both at high and low levels of play.

The update we got isn't "actual engagement", it's a "we fucked up" letter which, for the record, is very warranted and appreciated but it is SO FAR from what should be the bare minimum that developers should be held up to.

Don't settle for less (4/5)

If nothing else, with at least prominent members of the community such as content creators and reputable players. In my opinion, this should further extent to things such as actually frequent devblogs/devstreams/etc, current public discussions with engaging devs about game balance (3/5)

What the actual issues with the game were and still are.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think fighting game developers, ESPECIALLY given how small the dev teams and the communities are for these games compared to any other genre's franchises, should be AT BARE MINIMUM show themselves publicly engaging (2/5)

Why are fighting game developers held up to such incredibly low standards?

The season 4 patch went against almost everything community feedback has been speaking for in terms of game balance and while developing this patch they showed 0 signs of dev to player communication regarding (1/5)
