This game has one of my favorite uses of the DS dual screen. I remember being stuck on the puzzle for a good fifteen minutes, only to accidentally find a solution after I had taken a break

It's not like I'd be mad if they did it, but I remember vividly having my first real rival fight in Pokemon Red, and my rival telling me not to dawdle. I asked my parents immediately what it meant and learned a new word, and did it again and again as I continued to play

That's something valuable

As someone that learned some complicated vocabulary (for a child, anyway LOL) from Pokemon games, I don't think the series "needs" voice acting. It's good to have some things out there that help kids - and let's be real, some adults - with reading

I'm anxious to see what they do for a full NS2 game

The fact that so many people seem more interested in hating on what other people are playing rather than enjoying what they enjoy is crazy to me. There are millions of people creating content around video games; you can definitely find the creator(s) that play the things you enjoy w/o hating others

I've been a little cheeky, I've been using quick attack to snipe the first attack and get some guaranteed points, then I try to grab the first buff that shows up for the same reason. I got up to Rank O using a fletchinder and a pidgeotto LOL

On a lighter note, I managed to clear a difficult fight in Final Fantasy Tactics last night after recognizing the initial problem and finding a solution for it, all on stream. Then I managed to first try the second phase, and I'm pretty proud of myself this morning \o//

Yet I find myself unsurprised at the disconnected response. For every two steps Twitch takes forward, they take five back. A few years ago, I was hopeful a change in leadership could be the spark Twitch needed for meaningful change

Instead we're left with whatever this is

The amount of times I've banned some creep as a moderator just for them to stalk on different socials under different user names is far greater than the amount of people I've had to ban on my own personal channel

I tend to not buy in / trust "leaks," in general, because all they're really good for is getting our hopes up unnecessarily

That said, if this ever /was/ real, them not announcing something for the 25th anni with all that new merch & artwork should've been considered a death knell

and doing it hours after you (and, I assume, others) have covered it and /in the middle of the night/ is unacceptable. I wouldn't blame a single creator for backing out of this event after this. They said they were increasing security before, why should we believe them now?

This is the part that gets me the most. They have an online platform and they know things like this spread like wildfire. To sit idly by and not at least make a statement that they banned the dude from the event and they're working with local law enforcement is unacceptable

Whenever someone says "not all men" or "stop generalizing" when talking about the issues that people who /aren't/ men face, send them this video where no one did anything for a solid three seconds and then let this dude walk away scot-free. In 2025. Literally yesterday.

I absolutely adore that they added blockades that test your game knowledge in Pokemon Legends Z-A. Using fire to burn brambles, flying attacks on spider webs, etc. is so smart & fun
