A great next 1% solution is to require every service offered at a practice be in network for every provider they work with, so you don’t get surprise out-of-network charges when you’ve chosen an in-network practice and doctor

And you all freaked out about every single chip the right made at abortion rights along the way alongside them, so don’t act like you don’t know how to do this.

We should have said “one step closer to a single payer system” instead of “it’s not Medicare for All so it’s not good enough and it’s basically nothing”

- Allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices
- capping insulin prices at $35
- forbidding medical debt from affecting your credit score

We should have been throwing confetti from the rooftops like the right did when one state required abortion providers to have admitting privileges at hospitals

We would be a lot closer to Medicare for All if we celebrated and accepted every 1% improvement to the medical system the way the right did with every 1% step towards a total abortion ban.

I'm just going to keep pointing out these small* moments of collective action until it starts to click with folks that if we stand together we have all of the power.

I posted a few days ago that I’m wary of algorithms, but I truly do think all algorithms are detrimental to political health and public discourse, and this is quickly becoming my most sincerely held belief.

Yes I’m mad at the gov for the ban. But I’m the most radicalized rn against having the bulk of my social interactions, and frankly my day, driven by algorithms made to monopolize my attention by for-profit companies for who they want me to see and who they want me to interact with

It was nice to have such a nice day where I accomplished some little things. I think I would have been scrolling for hours and not done a lot of that if tiktok had been up, and I would have had a worse day because of it.

-washed all my dirty dishes that had piled up since Friday
-made & ate a healthy breakfast
-folded the clean laundry that had been sitting for a week
-put up the magnetic lights I got 2 months ago in my kitchen
-hung out with friends for a few hours
