Made Habanero Chile Pepper Hot Sauce a few days ago. Small batch because it doesn't take much. Sort of sweet, fruity, and hot, as habaneros tend to be.

Homemade green jalapeno hot sauce in jars on tabletop. Two are canning jars (12oz. and 16oz.) and one is a swing top w/red rubber seal. Shot in my living room showinh clutter behind the jars.

Smoking the jalapenos, tomatillos and onion that went into this batch was the best thing I've done in a long time. What a difference it made. Mild jalapeno heat with a touch of vinegary tanginess and the subtle taste (and smell) of applewood smoke. Delicious.

Fresh ground coffee beans in an AeroPress will make you a good cup. Easy, quick, and not too pricey.

I made a very small batch of red jalapeno hot sauce yesterday. It's hotter than my green jalapeno sauce. I always thought jalapenos mellowed as they turned red but this stuff is hot. It tastes like the typical red hot sauce you get at your favorite taco joint. And yes, I'm a hot sauce lightweight.

I almost didn't post that because you've been sounding so fed up lately with these social networks. I've enjoyed following you all these years on many different networks and don't want you to finally say to hell with it all and disappear.
