I've got a long stash of Kindle books I bought at a discount and need to read - it would take a year off everything else to catch up.

I still get this book out and read it sometimes.

Books challenge - Yes, there have been books that affected my life, but 20? ... After thinking, I got 20 that I read before 1982. Nothing since then (that I can think of this early in the morning) has impressed me so much as these. Starting with my age 3 favorite, the trippiest children's book ever.

Got it. I see now that I don't know enough to make a statement like that and I take it back.

Addiction to indignation and anger is the subtlest and most dangerous addiction. You may not notice when you turn that corner and begin to long for people and situations to be worse than they are so that you can feel yet more indignant. It'll ruin you. You might as well go ahead and sniff glue.

I know at least one person who will writhe himself into contortions to justify anything that happens.

If things go wrong, a lot of people will say it was because we didn't go far _enough_ with the policies, that if it had been applied _purely_ enough, it would all have worked.

I can say some negative things like "It isn't full of bots and racists," but I don't know the positives yet. Lots of people joining, though, so should be plenty for a like-minded community: bcounter.nat.vg

As a non-musical person, I suppose it can be, just like pretty much any kind of vocalizing in connection with praying.

I haven't yet posted about the recent and ongoing political calamity. To me it's like staring into a deep, dark pit. The only shred of hope I have is that you can never have a bunch of people all supposedly of the same party without infighting developing and pretty quick, reducing their efficiency.
