The second 6 Reds of the season was played last night with Steve Lawrence beating Lee Blackburn 23-21.

It was Steve’s third win overall and his first since the 2021/22 season!

Lee has been runner-up in 3 out the last 7 finals.

Mason was supposed (I think) to be talking about the conference BUT more than half the interview was Mason's faux anger and questions about RefUK ... and he claims there's no bias 🤷

The BBC then had to state after the interview that they are impartial. Deary deary me!

Chris Mason #bbc getting very shirty with Ed Davey challenging the BBC on giving too much airtime to Reform. If only he brought that level of energy to scrutinising Farage. Mason coming across as petty and vindictive.

The truth: we need migration.

Why? They're led by a) toxicity of the charlatans & b) wealthy media organisations who demand these useful distractions rather than us talking about inequality.

The first 6 Reds of the new season was played last night.

The tournament was played on the Swiss System format with eight players playing four opponents and four qualifying for the semi-finals.

In the final, Keith Butler defeated Dave Cooper 45-41, Keith potting pink with seconds to spare!

Only Fred Davis has defended a first-time win.

Joe Davis was seeded into the final in 1928 and John Pulman defended via a challenge match. Both cannot properly count.

So it should really be just the ‘curse’.
