Qualifying held in the HOST country immediately prior to the main rounds.

An even spread of OPEN ranking events
Mark Selby saying there are still a lot of tournaments until the world championship when meanwhile I'm watching Iulian Boiko who if he loses, won't play any further match until the world championship. 😨

6 REDS SERIES 2025/26:
Dave Scott defeated Lee Blackburn on the final black 33-31 in the final of the Bob Boucher Circle Classic.
This was Dave’s 2nd 6 Reds win and takes him to third in the rankings.
Lee’s second runners-up spot of the season helps him top the ranking list with 3 events to go.

Last night’s 6 Reds was won by debutant Steve Perry. Steve beat Mark Donnelly in a close final 32-27.
Steve reached the final undefeated whilst Mark recorded two 30+ breaks (37,30) in making the title match.
In total 13 players entered with the tournament played to Double Elimination format.
At yesterday’s 6 REDS DOUBLES, we were able to catch-up on a couple of trophy presentations.

James Wardle won 6 Reds event #6, The Fairytale of Harborne Christmas Cup by defeating debutant, Dale Sawyer on a re-spot black in the final.
It was James’s second tournament win.
Ten players took part, played on a Swiss System basis then straight knock-out.

Keith tops the series rankings with Steve Lawrence in second.

In the final, Tim beat Mark Sheppey by 50-17, the match turned on a vital in-off black when Mark was in the balls.
It was Tim’s second win, more than 2yrs after his first.
Next up the JOHN BEERJERAZ MEMORIAL.

The second 6 Reds of the season was played last night with Steve Lawrence beating Lee Blackburn 23-21.
It was Steve’s third win overall and his first since the 2021/22 season!
Lee has been runner-up in 3 out the last 7 finals.

The stats don’t lie.
The Beeb is complicit in broadcasting in a way that’s entirely unbalanced.
And Mason, as editor, should be held to account.
Mason was supposed (I think) to be talking about the conference BUT more than half the interview was Mason's faux anger and questions about RefUK ... and he claims there's no bias 🤷
The BBC then had to state after the interview that they are impartial. Deary deary me!
Chris Mason #bbc getting very shirty with Ed Davey challenging the BBC on giving too much airtime to Reform. If only he brought that level of energy to scrutinising Farage. Mason coming across as petty and vindictive.
