@psc-cuny.org stands shoulder to shoulder with St. John’s University in their fight to maintain faculty union representation and collective bargaining rights on campus.
Starting a union is impossibly hard. Keeping a union going, for decades, in lieu of all the hurdles, keeping a coalition together, standing up to those in charge who try to undermine you at every turn, is even harder.
That they can just "end it" on a whim is FUCKING ABSURD. 1/

A Pew survey found that 53% of American adults describe the morality and ethics of our fellow citizens as “bad.” Meanwhile, in Canada, 92% say their fellow Canadians are good while just 7% say they’re bad.
Why are we Americans so down on our fellow citizens?

Schatz: We don’t know for sure, but the likely bombing of an elementary school with one of our Tomahawk missiles is not a one-off mistake. It is the result of a change in policy so that the United States has way looser rules of engagement — way more tolerance for civilian harm.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
