yeah! unless the mount is a big part of their character (eg Sophie, Percy, Cherche), mounted units don't even mention it off hand >_<

I find it fascinating that FEH calls Ryoma's head piece a "visor", because Fates called it "chin armor" 😆

Sumeragi was visiting Cheve when he was ambushed (~15 years ago), and we know Ryoma was there too.

Do you think Scarlet and Ryoma met when they were kids (he'd be 13, and she'd be 9-10) and have since forgotten about it? 🤔

oh one more thing: if she was queen, Scarlet would have to leave her beloved Cheve and live in Hoshido with him, and Ryoma feels like he can’t ask her to choose like that.

Besides, Scarlet is a free spirit, court life might feel like a cage to her.

Of course he doesn't /talk/ about this to anyone, so his assumptions might not even be correct. But as such he can't accept her feelings (or he pretends not to see) .... (3/?)

He worries she wouldn't be accepted easily by the people or nobles in the court. He's seen first hand how Mikoto was treated (he worked hard to get people to accept her). They eventually loved her, but the journey was not easy on Mikoto, and Ryoma doesn't want Scarlet to go through that... (2/?)

I have this HC that Ryoma is not as oblivious to Scarlet's feelings as he seems. Scarlet would be queen if they were married, and he doesn't want to put her in that position. Not that she wouldn't make a good queen (she's a good leader), but because she's a foreigner but not royalty... (1/?)
