update: we're not in the clear yet due to the high winds, but we are safe for the time being. what a scary and stressful week this has been. power has been unreliable and the air quality has been really bad

i live really close to one of the larger fires atm and have been really on edge. we are prepared to evacuate, but things have been really scary
