A part of me is like, Rommath why are you being such a shit and being such a hardass to Umbric. Then I remember how much I love putting elves in situations and making them squirm through them. He'll get his later for it all when he's forced to process his feelings lol.

I've gotten more writing done in the last couple days than I have in....if I'm honest more than a year. Maybe more. The stress and writer's block had a chokehold on me and I didn't know how to get through it. Now though Midnight has kicked something back into functioning and I'm so happy.

Snippet from some shenanigans I'm working on (turning the fucking elves gay). You cannot tell me that the tension between these two doesn't scream 'something more.' Umbric/Rommath - Very minor Midnight spoilers if you really squint.

For context Poot's idea of 'Helping' includes and is not limited to:

- Sitting on my desk and hitting keys on the keyboard either while gaming or writing.
- Trying to taste all the flavors of 'spicy spaghetti' on my desk.
- Paws in the drinking cup cause he wants to taste it.
- Pen/pencil thievery.

Relying on 'good faith' and people to be honest only works part of the time because some people, usually the idiots who use ai, will be intentionally deceitful because they see nothing wrong with their slop. Curious what event lol.

I think people just sign up and do it because no one will stop them, or has so far at least. The event also might not have someone checking or might be hesitant to 'alienate' people coming in by calling out AI in case they make a mistake. It doesn't excuse this though.

Like, if they were handling it like the psp style games I could overlook some of the 'we got dropped in modern day city' thing. It's not checking the boxes that most people who love Dissidia said they want. Kind of like how no one will listen about a Bloodborne port, Dissidia fans get ignored. lol

I watched the new Dissidia trailer. I'm just as disappointed as I thought I'd be. Someday, someday they'll listen to what the Dissidia fans actually want. Maybe.
