I hear that a lot of them are saving as much as they can in advance of increased prices - but it's a catch-22. To avoid tariffs, they have to ramp up. They have to pay the tariffs to stay in business to afford to ramp up though, and they can't afford to ramp up if they have to pay the tariffs.

I will grant Trump this much. He has managed to accomplish the impossible.
He made Reagan look like an economic genius.
That would require him to "come down with the woke virus."

I'm still used to FB, where I can post an entire photo album under one general caption, then caption each photo as well.
Here, I was using the alt text just to add my captions to the photos.
I received a notice that someone reported this post. I'm not sure why, I was just reporting on the event.
And as a photographer, it is my intention to photograph similar events and post those, too.
I am doing this to document an important point in American history. Well within my rights.
It was at the north entrance to the University Towne Center mall in San Diego. There's a Tesla store inside the mall, the protesters stayed on the sidewalk at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Executive Drive. Actually, at all four corners - but staying on public sidewalks.

Tariffs are meant to encourage American manufacturers to purchase from American sources. That's why they make Americans pay the tariff if they purchase from a tariffed nation.
(Note: AMERICANS pay the tariff.)
And when the only sources are from those tariffed nations? What then?
So he actually went ahead and paid people for their votes.
Can we lock him up for election tampering now?

This guy thought he was harassing the protesters. Apparently, his thing was that he rewired this metal detector to detect instead, well, ... But I think he wired it in reverse. No matter who he pointed it at, it was constantly beeping. Even when there was no one else near him. He must have been "finding" himself all along?
There's the northwest corner. There were groups on all four, but the biggest by far was the southeast, where people exit the mall for the freeway. And there was a LOT of horn honking in support.
Here's the southeast corner, looking east along La Jolla Village Drive to the I-805 freeway. Don't worry - I was in a zebra-striped crosswalk and with the light. I shot as I walked, and was all the way across before the light changed. Want to keep it legal, right?
Here's a distance shot. There were a number of police cruisers around, but again - all the police looked bored. And as I said, we like it that way - if they're bored it means that everything stays a "peaceful protest" as is our constitutional right.

But he doesn't care about you unless your net worth is at least eight figures.
I'm looking for a little more info on the San Diego - UTC event today. The site says "outside the mall" (which makes sense, the Tesla presence is a store inside the mall, private property.) Of course, we want to remain on public property, but just where outside the mall would it be?
