You can use both, you'd want to use OAuth for authenticated requests, such as getting profile information of the user that is signing in, OAuth will be useful if you plan to have features that are premium etc, or any sign up flow, plus it's good to offer it than the usual email/password sign up.

OAuth being set up

OAuth fully set up for @verifiedusers.bsky.social bverified.vercel.app (not deployed yet) using Prisma. Working on some premium features but part of the OAuth is to not constantly use the public apis for the tools I plan to use.

In July the website had over 80,000 visits, likely from the RT's it got from high following verified accounts. Nice to see!

I'd say away from app passwords if you can, especially if you want to attract a larger base of customers.

I managed to rack up £144 bill with Expo Dev, not realising I was out of my plan. There isn't a cap tool so be careful folks, team at Expo Dev were helpful though.
