I agree that *might* work. But, in today’s America millions of people are living paycheck to paycheck so are not able to miss the work required for a general strike to matter. Especially, they have people over a barrel and this is why we see them so emboldened.

The issue is voting.Literally every person in the US can be in the streets but if voting is compromised being in the streets is moot.Protesting has never removed a dictatorial regime that has the support of their government.If it did,Putin,Erdogan, Kim Jung Un,Jinping, etc., would be out of a job.
