Honestly, creating with AI feels really frustrating to me.
It’s not like art, editing or writing where there’s a natural rhythm, a flow, as you work through ideas, and solve problems.

Feels like you’re prompting, hoping, tweaking, and waiting… rather than actually creating.

🎨 The color grade deserves a mention too. Crazy strange, uneasy magenta that subtly reinforces the off-kilter tension of being on set as everything spirals out of control.
It’s bold, unnatural, and intentional.
You feel the stress in every frame, even before things go wrong.

It’s not just a stylistic flex… the one-take is essential to the storytelling.
Adds to the tension.
The camera navigates a real, confined location with precise choreography, as cast and crew hit every invisible cue under real-time lighting pressure. Soo good hey.

🎥 Robert Rodriguez did the same with El Mariachi.
No budget meant no extra takes… he shot only what he needed.
Editing was planned on paper because film stock was expensive.
Still one of the best lessons for indie filmmakers:
🧠 Shoot like an editor.

The Coens shoot with the cut in mind, minimal coverage, fewer takes.
They’re not searching for the story in post… they’re building it from the start.
It’s edit-minded directing.
🎛️ Structure, pacing, timing… all locked in early.
