I'm in Japan!!
Luxurious first 2hr flight with no one next to me, followed by the 10.5 hour packed overseas flight 🥲
(I can never sleep well the first night in a new place either, so today may be rough)

I'm (kind of) back! My injury persists, but most of the pain is gone, so I was able to do a little sewing for the first time in a month 😭 taking it slow to not overdo it though

I got injured at work a couple weeks back, and while I've fortunately been able to keep working, I'm not currently able to use my right hand for much. I haven't been able to draw or sew or anything, and it's starting to get really frustrating. 🥲

A flatlay or everything that arrived in my taobao order. For egl, I got the sheep puff heart bag in mint, a black headbow, some star clips, and a few rings. For tamagotchis, I got 2 connections, some cases, two of the blind bags, and an ichigotchi pouch.

Some accessories, plus I learned that I could buy tamagotchi items on taobao and went a little hard : o I'm so excited!!

Experimented with different style headdresses using the scraps from this dress : ) tried to go for both a more "traditional" and "modern" style of headdress with materials I already had at home! First time making small fabric bows too 💜

So I'm learning that the colours on my desktop show up wildly different on my phone :0 but this was the third edit, so it's just going to cause eyestrain sorry:0

Two black flat/rectangle style egl headdresses. One is right side up to show details (criss-cross ribbon lacing from a rose trim, and a larger bow at each end) and the other is flipped over to show the clips sewn to the back. The ruffle around the outside is made from the same fabric and the backing. Both have the ribbon ties filling the sides of the image in a squiggle.

I celebrate Canada day by reminding my coworkers that we get paid time and a half, and also should be getting 5% of their last 4 weeks pay, in lieu of a day off. ⛄️✨️

A local comm friend was doing a taobao group order and I felt like it was time to get this dress (and socks!) It's really cute, but the bubble hem is tricky to steam so its still wrinkly after my first go. #eglfashion

I've been playing with my tamagotchi uni more recently, and I was finally able to unlock every base character : D I'll probably take a break soon to play with a connection again

I think this is the fourth? colour of ribbon I've bought to make these beige wristcuffs, I think it's as close to a perfect match as I'll get. The others weren't bad and have their uses, but this is satisfying 💜

I paired it with a white blouse, white lace-topped utks, black rocking horse shoes, and a black and white headdress. In the second of the two test coords, I'm wearing a black cardigan over top with one of the removed bows from the dress as a brooch. The background is a dark yellow gingham, that was supposed to be orange.

Another quick alteration, the straps on this jsk were loose from age, I was able to remove some stitches and just tighten the remaining elastics c :

I got these headresses second-hand in October/November and finally got around to my standard alterations. Adding weft clips, and removing the tied bow/stitching down the small ribbon on the smaller style. (The bows are super wonky though, so I might replace them at some point)
