Mario Tennis Fever is my favourite Mario Sports game and it’s not even close

I couldn’t believe it when I unlocked it, I didn’t hear it mentioned in any reviews. Feels like event matches from Smash. Super cool surprise!

I’m so addicted to Mario Tennis Fever, it’s actually wild how balanced the Fever rackets are. I really thought many would be busted, but they’re implemented so well!

This game is so brilliant. I platinum’d the game and was STILL finding new secrets, new ways to interact with the world, and absolutely mind blowing stuff.

The well REALLY goes deep

Some very strong early impressions - the amount of content and gameplay variety makes this stand out from other recent Mario sports games. It’s a contender for my favourite Mario Sports game, it’s THAT good.

7) Mario Tennis Fever

First things first, yeah the story mode isn’t great. HOWEVER, everything else about this game ROCKS! It’s super polished, has a TON of content, every mode is fun and different, and there’s tons of options to customize how you play. Don’t sleep on this one, it’s the real deal!

6) Dragon Quest 2 HD 2D

One of the best remakes I’ve ever played. Compared to the 1 & 3 remakes, this one soars above them. The amount of effort and reimagining gone into this game is wild. The characters, the story, the exploration, it’s all amazing. Trust me, do not miss this one! Post game time!

People are not being loud enough about how AMAZING DQ 2 HD is. Like, this is without question the best in the trilogy. I’m 20 hours in and have been absolutely
blown away by the amount of effort put into this remake! Might as well be a totally new game.

5) Dragon Quest 1 HD 2D

It looks and sounds great, and has some great QOL stuff, but, despite only taking around 15 hours to beat, it feels poorly paced in areas. Additionally, there’s some INSANE difficulty spikes (Spiketail being the worst).

It’s fine, but DQ 2 HD 2D I hear is really good!

Fuck that fight oh my god

A buddy of mine was in Japan recently and managed to get me one of these out of a Gacha machine. These use actual controller pieces from past Nintendo controllers. It feels just like the buttons should!

I did a 100% replay of DKC Returns HD with the new update this week. It’s WILD how much better this version is than any previous version. Dixie, the higher resolution, near-instant load times, and fixing co-op is so big.

Absolutely jump in if you haven’t!
