Everything Trump has done in his second term was what I expected him to do in his first. The difference, there were men and women in his administration that prevented him from doing his worst. Now it is just filled with people as bad or worse than him.

Probably the most surprising thing has been the lack of terrorist attacks on international Trump properties. I certainly wouldn’t be in one right now.

I’ve watched one SOTU live in last 15 years. I still will vote for the first POTUS that says he will send it to Congress as a letter instead of holding a rally.

I have a European trip this summer. Expect about the same or higher. Probably will just focus on longer trips to Asia after this. I'm not a cheapskate except maybe on hotels and breakfast. I love the Japanese business hotels for solo travel. Bed, bathroom and wifi is all I need.

Back from a week long vacation and had a good time. I pretty much enjoyed where I visited but it is just getting too expensive to take long trips in the US. Solo travel and I was averaging $35-40 a meal. Nothing fancy. Hotels around $175/night. Might be last long domestic trip for a while.
