The world is rubbish, but this poppy grew from a crack in the pavement outside my house, and that's rather lovely, isn't it. 🌱💚🥰
I recently went to the alley on East Oregon that was overrun with Common Blue #Violets (Viola sororia) last year and I didn't even find sprouts yet so here's a shot from last April 9th.
