I highly suggest @ente.io for backup of movies and photos and @proton.me for files! I've never had a bad moment with them and they are privacy first.

If you can afford/have time to make one, a local RAID is also good - over a few years it will cost the same as a subscription service.

Yup. I did try to play the first one but even with the recommended mods it just randomly stopped working after an hour and I am too much of an adult with not enough free time to get it to work lol.

Work really depressing me at the moment. Seems my boss just expects me to organise them not the other way round. Oh, and rearrange things on a whim months later. I am literally finishing work and going straight to bed because I'm so exhausted.
