Contemplating running the 100 ranked games on Ken as a break from Marisa (now that I regained Ultimate Master) just so I can unlock his blue hair and pronouns.

Don’t really care if his MR tanks since I’m not using him competitively right now.

Took much longer than it should have, but we got there in the end.

1813 MR. I feel like I can go further, but I’m gonna sit on it tonight since I know these things fluctuate. Proved to myself that last phase wasn’t a fluke.

Ran a bunch of FT3s with Magnegro_, lost all of them, ended with a 5-15 record. Considering he was just looping effortless perfect KOs on me at Frosty in January, I’ll take that as a sign of progress despite the beatdowns.

OD Scutum wins but OD Gladius probably better a lot of the time IMO

Ran some more games with RobTV tonight and having the most trouble VS Ryu with solar plexus.

I’m hearing either backdash as a read to beat the proximity guard, or react with PP or OD Gladius.

It’s 20-frame startup, so possible but harsh.

How is everyone else handling it?

I know it’s coming to consoles, I just think the indefinite dragging wait while tournaments and ranked and everything are already happening sucks for console players. Calling it an alpha is generous. It already has a competitive scene. I am hearing that it runs on weaker PCs though, which is good!

People are always surprised when I explain my convoluted stream setup with a cloud stream to my laptop of PS5 gameplay that’s actually on a TV, but lots of people are making do with limited funds and what’s readily accessible. I hope everyone can play 2XKO soon if they want to.

My opinion on 2XKO probably doesn’t matter much as someone only playing SF6, but there’s so much I love—art style, community-first monetization structure, the FUN my friends are having—that it bums me out it’s locked to PC for the foreseeable future. Not everyone can afford a PC.

It’s very distracting 😂

If you lose to me on ranked, just know that sometimes it was while my girlfriend had an entire conversation with a cat in the background. 😂

2. Modern Marisa can only input armor stance and follow-ups with modern inputs due to motion input overlap.
3. So Enfold is only a guaranteed kill against yellow health Akuma.
