I personally like the lunar calendar marking the beginning of a year.

Energetically it makes more sense to me.

Feeling the awakening of everything, mirrored by the stirring in my own soul, aligning with the natural growth and new beginnings ... nothing is forced. All is in sync. Now seems much better for setting your path, not January when the world sleeps...
