The difference between ideas of mangas and comics around the world come from how cultures have treated the media. Like how they have framed and marketed the media from their release. And this has created a big difference of how comics and mangas may be percieved by western cultural critics. #manga

There are also problems with context in translations. Non korean speaking fans of Hallyu may recieve filtered information through translation. This may make foreign fans miss out on the public discourse of things like misogyny and prevent recognition of societal issues.

Hallyu, like K-dramas, often shows a idealized world and if they display societal issues it is not really confronting the realities of misogyny within Korean society. It may create this fantasy space of Korean society and make it seem as misogyny is less pervasive.

To watch this movie, which is based on true stories and experiences, it became more apparent to me how people have struggled with their sexuality and to be accepted in society.

Still there are a lot of positive effects to gaming. Like gaming promotes teamwork and cognitive skills.

This concern can also rise because of the increasing tension between traditional ideas of masculinity and emerging modern expectations of men. Like the expectations of men being more emotional and caring fathers, and their increasing presence in the home.

The concern for this "losing" of masculinity may be rooted in the traditional idea of wen and wu. Wen represents the literary or cultural strenght, while wu is linked to physical strenght. Modern chinese ideas of masculinity seeks a balance of these two ideas.

In 2023 the statistic showed that the average person drank around 400 cups through the year, this means that the average korean drinks more than 1 cup a day. And this is the average, which means that some people drink way more than this.
