I read the 1st book and was taken aback by the bigotry but thought maybe I was being overly sensitive. Saw the 1st movie; it had some cozy aspects, but again with the bigotry! Tried the 2nd book, which confirmed the series wasn't for me.

I watched it and now remember nothing about the experience except sitting there stone-faced, waiting to laugh.
