Well, paths aren't locked to specific universes. You pick what universe the path is going to happen in (you can change it on a counter-proposal). The only real restrictions are that obviously you can only be in one path at a time on primary, and you can't be eaten in primary if you have prey there.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that way, I suspect that's what makes it the "primary" universe. You -can- make it show up at the top of your profile though by tapping the star.
