Report: Atlanta United to sign goalkeeper Lucas Hoyos on a free transfer Atlanta United may have found its new starting goalkeeper.

Big transfer news this Friday as César Luis Merlo and Uriel Iugt both report that Newell's Old Boys GK Lucas Hoyos will join Atlanta United on a free when his contract expires at the end of the month.

I completely forgot about this but Atlanta United don't have a second round pick (32nd overall). That was given to Inter Miami as compensation for the Chris Henderson hire.

Atlanta United have selected UNC Greensboro defender Enzo Dovlo with the 12th overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft
