Don't worry I think the same about this place to be honest. 2 grants rejected and 2 papers rejected so far this year....but then again teaching has been really rewarding - seeing the visually impaired student recieving her degree today was one of the highlights of my year.

Completely bamboozled why universities use FEC as the benchmark for research finances. This artificially inflates the response of Indirect costs. Surely a better measure would be the ratio of Directly Allocated and Indirect costs. DAs save the University money after all....
