An excerpt of a spreadsheet containing #ALevelMaths data from the June 2025 Edexcel papers for #Mathsconf39
Inspired from the "Moving em up" workshop where
@justmaths.bsky.social shared on GCSE, I'll be attempting to do this for A Level. Lots of discussion promised!

Without the crossover they won’t get the higher grades so BOTH books would be what I’d recommend.

When your year 11 daughter asks for a revision guide to make sure she’s got the basics, where else are you going to look?! @justmaths.bsky.social

Hope everyone who is back at work tomorrow has a good day! Your lanyard is in your school bag/near the door/in that drawer/in the glove compartment [delete as appropriate] 🙂

What I meant to say was don’t beat yourself up about it …. If we didn’t have planner I’d NEVER remember to do it. 😂

Our kids have old fashioned planners … can give positives in the moment so no faffing and in my case, inevitably forgetting to do it! No blazer, equipment, lateness … sign the planner. Boys need a clean planner to access the MUGA

A spiral staircase in a lovely concrete carpark. Out the top of the stair you can see the sky, Edinburgh Castle, and the Red Arrows.
Haha! It worked!
I scoped out the angle this morning and figured I’d be very lucky to pull it off, but it was surely worth a try, eh?

Anyone work in a school that's formally implemented scheduled skip-level meetings e.g. where teachers meet their HoD's line manager or middle leaders meet the head? I mean beyond a general invitation or statement that doors are open.

Niche request: I am looking for a book extract or could be blog etc that is suitable for Y12 students and deals with consent. I would rather it was about consent *within* a relationship. It is a reading task but pupils will reflect on the piece after, so as relatable and readable as poss.
Pls RT!!
