Chennai weather is so harsh. Literally had to latter my whole skin with huge scoops of Vaseline

I miss libraries, they were only limited till we were in a school or collage, after that I don’t find it anymore. At least to buy books physically it’s very difficult at tier2 city. Selling of magazines and books at train station also disappeared.

Am I being indifferent because I’m avoiding the discomfort of confrontation and pain I had to revisit ? Or is it because I’ve grown and value my self-respect more and raise above grievances ?
But then Nietzsche would be disappointed at me and say I’m avoiding and calling it self respect.

I often felt that indifference was the best way to handle situations when I find a
friend faulty. However, reading Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations has made me question this approach. He suggests that indifference can mean missing an opportunity to gently address issue or strengthen the relationship.
