A truck driver didn’t see my husband in the bike lane this morning & turned right into him. Bike dragged under wheels & he was thrown across front. He’s bruised & grazed but OK. I feel unnerved by how easily I could have received a call saying he was injured or dead. Be safe on the roads, friends

So interesting to read as I haven’t read the book but the movie made a massive impact on me. I’m just so sick of this constant churning out of the same content when there are so many new stories to tell!!

I understand Hollywood likes to remake successful movies as a guaranteed way to make money. Why risk a fresh story if you can churn out a mildly fresh take on a hit film. But WHY remake American Psycho, there is no way to improve on the original, so it is just irritating and greedy!!

Wine with lunch makes for really solid afternoon naps!

Ah, December. From now until Christmas, there will be families walking 5 abreast down the aisles of every single shop you enter. Moving at a glacial pace while actively side eyeing anyone who tries to outrun their blockade. Joyful times ahead!

Yeah, I check in every now and again over there but there’s just no engagement. It’s a hollow echo of what it used to be.

The loss of the other place really broke my heart. Hopefully we recreate all the good bits here!

For someone who is utterly dreadful at all sports, sports movies are my jam. The cheesier the better, those underdogs get me every time. Looking for a good one to watch tonight, any recommendations?
