I'm only about 15 minutes into this week's @strictscrutiny.bsky.social but I think we the public ought to be furious about the disappearance of Bivens actions. If we can't sue for violations of constitutional rights, then in practice, the Constitution doesn't mean anything. It's just words on paper.

It's not equality being sought banning trans from sports. It's division.

@leahlitman.bsky.social and @wagnertonight.msnbc.com are totally right. The law says members of Congress can conduct oversight of ICE detention centers. Oversight is our responsibility and our duty, but I’m facing intimidation from this administration for conducting it.

Another great episode - the snark and banter are one of the few places to find a little joy in these dark times.
