New study w/ Iowa & Washington colleagues evaluated the role of perceived patient credibility & event importance in RNs' decisions to report patient safety concerns. ⬆️ concern & Rx errors = ⬆️ intent to report. RN perception of patient credibility not significant!

Earlier this year, Phil Singer, @bradwrightphd.bsky.social, and I published a piece in JHPPL in which we looked at 1332 waiver activity from 2019 to 2023. We examined how the Trump administration used waivers to try to accomplish some of their #healthpolicy priorities, and how Biden reversed course.

Getting an IV analysis in a clinical journal is hard!

But happy to see this work on the effect on observational stays on clinical and cost outcomes in Medicare published in #JGIM
