DOJ cuts grants to survivor-advocacy groups in New Orleans Two nonprofits in New Orleans are worried about their futures after the U.S. DOJ abruptly canceled a federal grant that would have helped them offer support to survivors of violence.

The Trump DOJ pulled millions in funding for groups throughout Louisiana that support survivors of domestic, sexual + intimate violence.

Now groups fear they'll have to lay off staff, cut back services for survivors.
