Watching this with my wife last night and said “this is like “sea of rust” if there was only one overlord intelligence, it was friendly, and it used humans instead.” Loving these episodes so far. She hasn’t read “Sea of Rust” so she was mildly confused with what tf I was saying.

For anyone on the fence, it MUST be seen in the theater! The atmosphere and cinematography are part of the horror, and waiting to watch it at home will pull you out of the 1982 horror that is intended

Just got back from the movie theater and came on to here just to let @crobertcargill.bsky.social know how much I enjoyed “Black Phone 2” and the whole timeline is agog over some sportsball.
I do love sportsball but I also love watching creepy movies in the theater.

Won’t be able to get to the theater this weekend, but sometime next week for sure!

I really want to go see the new movie “Good Boy”. Horror movie told from the pov of the dog. Good reviews, great original concept.
Word of caution: do not just blindly put the words good boy into your search bar looking for reviews. It will not get you the results you think

Will start on “The End of the World as We Know It” before bed, and let’s not forget “The Gorge” earlier this year!

When Yoda walks into the cave to fight Count Dooku in AOTC, tapping with his cane, and then pulled out his lightsaber the theater I was in lost their collective minds. We’d been waiting so long for Yoda badassery

I cannot recommend “Sea of Rust” enough. Everyone who has read it after I made them has thanked me afterwards. A book completely about robots that will have you thinking about what it actually means to be human. Go get it and thank me later.

God I loved this experience in a theater. The music, the dancing, and then horror was just a visceral experience that was hard to describe. I never thought river dance could be creepy but, by god, they made it possible!

If you all see one movie in the theater this year,make it “Sinners”.I’m not good enough with adjectives to describe how much this movie is a theatrical experience.The cinematography, the acting,the music,oh my word the music and dancing.And this is all in a vampire flick.
