My first attempt at a gluten free pumpkin pie wasn’t a total fail!

Groceries are still out of control, but if you have any dietary restrictions, may the lord be with you. Shopping gluten free for my celiac kid is just bank breaking. Like, it’s actually egregious what companies charge for GF bread. Oh but just buy flour & make your own. Ha. Ha. a bag of flour is $8.

What an absolutely crazy timeline we live in.

My work is doing a toy drive so I told my kids they each have $75 to pick some toys to donate and they both looked at me and said “that’s like 3 cool toys. We can do better than that” 🥹 and so we will. I love how generous they are and how much they love helping others.

Fuck ICE and fuck anyone who thinks this is okay and fuck anyone who voted for this. History will one day name you all as the racist pieces of shit you all are.

We are still not nearly as angry as we should be about ICE kidnapping people off the streets and assaulting people in broad daylight. Not nearly angry enough. They are nothing but bullies and thugs in masks.

This is the best time of year on TikTok because I can just scroll and watch people buying angel tree gifts all day long and it restores my faith in humanity.

“I will never be the most mature 38 year old in the room” is an actual sentence that I said to my boss in a performance review/meeting today.

I too, spend $500 million while sitting on my couch drinking a glass of wine. Almost every weekend.

Israeli leaders will go down as some of the most murderous & evil in history. They bombed every hospital in Gaza & now they’re forcing patients to go back to get care at facilities that don’t exist. The world has failed Palestinians.
By the time any leaders grow a backbone, it will be too late.

Our democratic leaders aren’t nearly angry enough and I highly doubt they understand how truly angry the America people are. Our president is BEGGING the Supreme Court to let him STARVE American people. Wake the fuck up.

Hold on a second. Their solution to the housing crisis is 50 YEAR MORTGAGES? Tying down Americans for 50 years and having them pay hundreds of thousands MORE in interest ? Just atrocious. Fucking ridiculous

My kid asking me to pack extra lunch for her because her friend didn’t have any food yesterday (or the day before) just really hits my soul. I love that my kid is so mindful of others, but I’m so angry we are allowing human beings to go hungry.

Oh my god, don’t even get me started on that bullshit. I am seriously so fucking tired of people complaining that there are too many ppl using SNAP benefits and that they shouldn’t be buying Cheetos or Dr. Pepper but they don’t say a word about Argentinas bail out or all the bombs we pay for.

Call me crazy, but I would rather my tax dollars be sent to poor families who need help paying for food (even cupcakes and soda 😱), than to Israel to continue bombing the shit out of Gaza.

EXACTLY THIS. And the mindset of “it was hard for me so why should it be easier for you?” is CRAZY SELFISH. Why do we want people to struggle just because we did? Like that is the opposite of what we should want.

I didn’t understand Latinos and immigrant Americans voting republican in the last election, but I am FLABBERGASTED at the Latinos being interviewed on the news saying they voted republican this time. The self hatred they have is astounding.

I have never been so invested in another city’s mayoral election.

If I answered “I don’t know” literally any time someone asked me literally anything at work, I would no longer be employed.
