If I had a very specific ship dynamic that I like and it’s the only thing I like, maybe I won’t be having this problem. But I am a multishipper + switching/reversing type of shipper too.

I’m not a big creator in any fandom. But people tend to see those who like switching/reversing as bad, and if I ship a character with multiple people there are fans who will also perceive it as bad. I feel like I’m walking on eggshells for liking what I like these days so I need more caution.

Oh it’s not just in Genshin fandom where I’m seeing people talk about tagging these days. I need to be extra careful since I’m not a fixed shipper and I also multi ship, and people like me almost always get the most hate if anyone sees us forget a tag or make a mistake. The judgment is heavy.

I see how people can be rather aggressive about tagging. Overlaps have happened time and again but lately I feel that people are likely to practically demand specificity and some are rather unforgiving about things.

to refer to Flins around the start of Luna 1 but now that there are more characters and people are having fun shipping them, I’d rather not cause confusion as much as possible.

Ah, recently I noticed that people who ship illuga with Flins use light for Illuga.
While I am multishipper and I enjoy polyshipping Flins with both Varka and Illuga, I think I’ll go with the less ambiguous ship name/tags so it’s clear. I don’t want people coming at me. Iirc people have used light

i enjoy lunar crystallize way too much. maybe it's because i've always liked playing zhongli and would want him in more teams.

Sadly we have yet to really see society improve in this regard :(
