“Never flinch. Never fear. Never forget.”
Mia Corvere wants revenge. But she must survive a brutal assassin school where failing = death. Expect blood, betrayal, & a deadly romance.
🔪 Murder school, but make it aesthetic.

Being double-booked as an author doesn’t mean events, it means abandoning one half-finished novel to chase a shiny new idea and now juggling two chaotic drafts like an over-caffeinated circus act.

After a weekend of self-care, it’s time to dive back into editing, refreshed, recharged, and only mildly terrified of what past-me wrote. The plot holes didn’t fix themselves, but hey, neither did I, and here we are! Let’s polish this story and make some magic. #writingcommunity #writersky

One minute it’s “what if AI gained sentience?” and the next, we’re panic-Googling if it already has. We don’t predict the future, we just write fast enough to keep up with it. #writingcommunity

But after rounds of tweaking, trimming, and taming, it stands tall, polished, and glorious. And I? I am its proud, exhausted parent.

Anyone else use a color coding system for editing? I find that it helps me keep track of edits, things I need to revisit, and new additions as I try to stay motivated.

Because every rejection is just another step toward the right ‘yes’—and this graveyard? It’s proof that you’re in the game. Keep querying, keep writing, and remember: even the best books started as ghosts in someone’s inbox.
💜
Each rejection gets a tiny headstone—“Not a fit at this time,” “Loved the concept, but not quite right,” and the classic “We regret to inform you…” Take a deep breath, lay some metaphorical flowers, and move on.
⬇️
Fun Idea: Query Graveyard—where rejected queries go to rest, and writers take a moment to mourn (before rising from the ashes like the resilient word-wizards we are).

Editing a draft is a journey. I stared at a single word for 10 minutes questioning if it was real, and somehow ended up debating my entire existence. Productive? Debatable. Dramatic? Absolutely.

If the world is ending, I’m just trying to write life back into it.

Current mood: Editing a first rough draft is like trying to clean a house after a wild party—you’re not even sure where to start, there’s a suspicious stain on chapter three, and at least two characters are passed out in the wrong plotline.
