Zero is a hell of a card and Lemnis Gate increases the grind even further, it's great!

It's been strange at locals recently
We used to get ~18 people very consistently
5 rounds every week unless there was a regional/OTS on nearby
But this last month we've averaged maybe 11?
A bunch of people have just stopped coming
I know for some it's price reasons, others it's the format
Sad :(

Exactly! Always some of my most fun games!

We just need Konami to make the decks that end on stronger boards, take more deck slots or need multiple cards to set up the board.
Hopefully that happens soon :)

With your 6 cards, and if you handtrap something like Lacrima, it feels like you're stopping that part of the deck.

So: I don't think we need a big 'Anti-Handtrap' card, or to ban them.

What made playing 18/21 Handtraps really obnoxious was when the endboard was crazy AS WELL, all off of the same amount of cards.
SnAsh, Wanted + 3 HTs does a LOT more than Unicorn, Engraver + 3 HTs and THAT was the issue.
You can realistically break the Fiendsmith Kash board 3/5

This is realistically just 2024 version of Invoked Dogmatika. A deck that sets up a few interruptions and then backs it up with strong N-E like Judgment, Veiler, etc.
Of course it's stronger than InvD because of power creep, but its very comparable to it.

Is this good or bad?

Personally I'm fine with this deck getting to play 23 N-E, because the ceiling of the deck just isn't as high as something like Snake-Eyes.

Finally got to visit that harbor specializing in Gunkan Suships that I've been curious about for a while! The premium "Shari" here is limited to 2000 Suships a year, and uses specially developed smooth aged rice, giving it extra boldness not found anywhere else. The classy atmosphere made my heart sing, too. The Gunkan Suship served had a perfect balance of vinegar, nigiri, shine, and shape, demonstrating exquisite artisanship. The owner told me, "We are introducing rich yet mellow scented EDO-FRONT red vinegar in the near future," which I'm really looking forward to. However, I was disappointed the surrounding seas were a little noisy... so, giving it 4 stars with hope for improvements in the future.
