Lynx have very long ears, and this appears to be short ears more like a Bobcat. Lynx are also very rare to see compared to Bobcat.

Brilliant medium blue sky dominates the top half of the picture. The lower half shows the photographer is standing on elevated rock, with evergreen trees the dominant tree lower in front of the viewer an to the right side of the picture. Straggly branches also press into the picture left. Beyond the trees blue mountains roll in the distance. On the right horizon are the recognizable peaks of Hawksbill and Table Rock.
