Nature truly is beautiful

Henry, my current main OC with his weird blaster thing on his left hand/paw. It looks like he’s in position to fire… His hind paws are spaced apart, eyes somewhat narrowed, and his tail floating as it does. His right arm and hand/paw are helping keeping the opposite arm steady.

Henry is now weaponless, but he still has his claws. With his left arm, he swipes at the air, slicing it with said claws. The posing is slightly more dynamic here, with Henry facing more toward the screen. He’s heavily leaning forward into the attack. Three thin, curved, vaguely zigzagging shaped are placed to convey the slicing motion.

Henry being shot forward by jet propelled shoes… it seems as though he wasn’t ready for this moment. He is quite horizontal… His tail is quite stretched out from all the acceleration and air resistance in play.

Henry losing his balance while wielding a blade of sorts. Everyone else made this look far easier than it really was…

Including his weapon that I introduced alongside him but haven’t been showing him with because I didn’t like to draw it.

On rare occasions, I might use color, do vector art, or even less commonly, share pixel art. No AI for reasons that I sincerely hope are obvious to any that might read this.

I tend to stick to non-human characters and creatures, so don’t expect to see people or anything like that.

New pinned post, hello! I’m Plasmute, I mainly post drawings

I will draw all sorts of things on occasion, though it’ll usually be either OC stuff, Kirby related, or Pokémon (usually zorua) related. If none of those, it’s likely still from a game.

I hadn’t anticipated that this would make the colors of the frontmost drawing darker, though it feels pretty fitting for this scenario. I like the ice crystals and the color in which they appear

Unfortunately, I do not know the source of her anger. But I can be intimidated for whoever it just fine

Using her ability, illusion, Hailey's anger is visualized. It looks as though her eyes become much larger, her glare becomes stronger and ice crystals surround the area as if ready to freeze anything nearby. This was done by painting on the back side of the paper and holding it up with a light behind it(credit to @Plasmute.bsky.social for the idea!)

Who made her angry?

An attempt at drawing a zorua at a slightly frontward, but mostly to the side angle. He has his front right paw lifted, but otherwise has a stable stance. There’s also a little bit of perspective work. Not much, but a little bit. Mostly with the hind legs. I’m putting together a few things that I’ve done before but rarely to together, like shading at all, using often curving lines to shade and simulate fur simultaneously, filling in certain parts to simulate the colors that would be there, and adding the rare tiny spike to make things appear fluffier.

Oh, there are also some other drawings I shared here. Those are small, too. I just tend to draw small. This time it was with pen though, and mine isn’t as consistent has my usual drawing utensil.

The sticky note had names on it, so it’s partially covered, but this is to show the tininess of this instance of Henry.

Magolor, with an eggshell hat riding a paper star (probably with a machine design that’s just a paper paper star.) Imagine the Magolor Epilogue color palette, because I didn’t color this in.

Oh I drew this a while back, but didn’t post it because I felt it was too soon to start showing Kirby Air Riders stuff.

I love the textures on this one, especially for the rocky surfaces I think it works well to highlight the smoothness and shininess of the crystals.

That outline color choice is also excellent. That seems to be unavoidable regarding your drawings…

An oshawott with a slightly bent tail using the move “razor shell” to slice open a custap berry. The oshawott is using the move midair, and with one clean downward slice, cuts the berry almost in half. In the background, there are small hills, a path, and smaller patches of tall grass in some areas.

This is the appropriate way to reach the insides of a harder berry.

A minccino, asking about a zorua…

The blitzle denies knowledge of this. Though, the speech box doesn’t seem to be coming from its mouth… The minccino is not convinced.

That zorua I usually draw, as seen from below while mid-jump. There are clouds to help sell the angle, but not much else for the background. The zorua’s shaded in to show shadows and what would be his red fur if the drawing was colored.

Legends say his leap can cross entire worlds, or so they tell me.

Three Waddle Dee waddling free across the papery sea of empty. In the lead is an orange one, followed by purple, then green. I just picked the colors on a whim.

No clue why I haven’t shared these yet, waddlers waddling is something they should be free to do.

I like that sometimes enemies in older Kirby games would just be different colors. And don’t get me wrong, I love the orange Waddle Dees, but I miss them having naturally occurring color variants.

…since this is currently my pinned post, and Henry’s pal has a name now, I guess I’m legally obligated to attach this information here.

Their name is Emory

Fluffy things with bags under their eyes or something… probably just some sort of marking. They have differently colored foreheads and ears, a messy tail, and tiny limbs hidden underneath their bodies. The red one might remind someone of a rabbit apple.

Creature that hides under leaves. Its face is showing, as well as its tail, but is otherwise completely obscured by the thin leafage.

A shadowy creature hiding in an eggshell of some kind. It had thin legs and a black tail sticking out from the eggshell.

A colorless one, but it glows. This creature is not finalized design wise.

Currently making creatures that may or may not show up again…
The coloring isn’t very clean

“Nah. I’d lose” Classic saying, Henry’s a realist. He finally has a background to stand in though, with grass and only grass.

Henry holding up a Waddle Dee. He just thinks it’s neat. Perhaps he should start visiting other worlds on purpose once he’s done bringing his own back. And figures out how to do that intentionally in the first place. His fur seems to be reflecting a bit of the Waddle Dee’s orange…
