B.C. helps people keep full federal Canada Disability Benefit
People receiving provincial income assistance in British Columbia who are also eligible to receive the new federal Canada Disability Benefit will keep the entire benefit, thanks to a B.C. exemption.
The new federal #CanadaDisabilityBenefit starts in July and in B.C., people on provincial assistance will keep the full amount. Thatโs up to $200/month in extra income, with no impact on provincial supports. We appreciate the work of the federal government. Apply today.
